47^th Annual General Meeting of Himalayan Rescue Association Nepal (HRA) successfully completed on Thursday, 26^th August, 2021 (2078.5.10) at Alice Receptions, Gairidhara, Kathmandu.

The meeting was chaired by The Chairman Mr. Hari Dharel

Chairman, Mr. Hari Dharel welcomed to all the distinguished members of the association at 47^th Annual General Meeting of Himalayan Rescue Association Nepal. Delivering his welcome speech Chairman Mr. Dharel mentioned that the HRA has been carrying out its regular activities such as managing Manang Aid-post, Pheriche Aid-post and HRA Everest-ER Medical Camp even during the global pandemic situation. Chairman further said that HRA has been closely coordinating with the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Department of Tourism in the central level and also locally Khumbu Pasanglhamu Rural Municipality and Manang Ngishyang Rural Municipality. Chairman emphasized disseminating information on AMS by publishing flayers, brochures, magazines and placing hoarding boards at different locations.

Chairman also mentioned that Nepal Chamber of Commerce has nominated him as a member of “Tourism Promotion and Cultural committee” on behalf of the Association.   

Chairman expressed his sincere gratitude to the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Department of Tourism, Ministry of Health, Department of Health Services, Department of Immigration, Labor Department, Nepal Medical Council (NMC), Nepali Army & Tokha Municipality for their support. He also expressed sincere appreciation to respected Embassies and Consulates as well as other organizations and individuals for their continuous support to HRA.

On behalf of the Executive Committee of the HRA, Secretary General Mr. Shreeram Khatri presented the Annual Progress Report for the fiscal year 2077/078 and Annual Implementation Plan (Plan of Action) for the fiscal year 2078/079. Likewise, the Audited Report for the fiscal year 2077/078 and Annual Budget for the fiscal year 2078/079 was presented by Treasurer Mr. Sushil Krishna Adhikari. The Medical Report was also presented by the Medical Director, Prof. Dr. Buddha Basnyat in the General Assembly.

Progress Report of fiscal year 2077/078 and Annual Implementation Plan for fiscal year 2078/079 presented by the Secretary General and Audited Report of fiscal year 2077/078 and Annual Budget for fiscal year 2078/079 presented by the Treasurer were unanimously approved by the General Assembly.

Mr. Janak Tamang from J. Tamang Associates was appointed as an Auditor to audit the books of accounts of HRA for the Fiscal Year 2078/079.

General Member Mr. Bhumi Lal Lama and Former Vice Chairman & General Member Mr. Narhari Bhandari were nominated as a representative of the general members to sign the minute book.

A “Vote of Thanks” was provided by Vice Chairman Mr. Kumar Ranabhat. He expressed his thanks & gratitude to all the concern authorities, organizations and individuals including Nepal Government for their cooperation and support to make HRA’s 47^th AGM grand success.

A felicitation program was also organized to felicitate all the respected personalities and companies who has supported HRA during the spring 2021.
