Hon’ble Minister Mr. Sher Bahadur Tamang, Ministry of Health and Population and HRA Chairman Mr. Hari Dharel had great meeting at Health Ministry Office on 13^th June 2021. Chairman Mr. Dharel presented a brief introduction of HRA and its noble work of saving the life of the people in the mountains since its inception 1973. Chairman also mentioned that the most important task of HRA is to try to prevent deaths from Acute Mountain Sickness that confronts foreign trekkers and Nepali people in the Himalayas. Chairman also emphasized the covid-19 pandemic is a real concern to all of us in the country. Hon’ble Minister appreciated the work that HRA has been providing in the mountains of Nepal. Mr. Gobinda Bashyal, Acting Chief Executive of HRA also present at the meeting.
