The Himalayan Rescue Association Nepal provided the rescue training to Nepal Police, Disaster Management Division on 6 - 8 July 2021 at Balaju natural rock climbing wall. HRA Rescue and Search Committee Convenor Mr. Tul Singh Gurung was the chief Instructor of the wall climbing training. Similarly, Mr. Gobinda Bashyal, Acting Chief Executive of HRA has also trained to the participants of Disaster Management Division of Nepal police about the Use of Gamow bag and Use of Oxygen in the mountain suffering from various degrees of altitude illness. These trainings will capacitate Nepal Police Unit which eventually help to respond disasters in a prompt way and effective search and rescue.
Chairman Mr. Hari Dharel, Former Chairman Mr. Bikram Neupne, Executive Member Mr. Damber Parajuli and Mr. Gobinda Bashyal from HRA visited the training area and interacted with trainees to make such trainings more effective in the future. We would like to appreciate the Disaster Management Division for valuable time and arrangements to the field visit.
The HRA has been involved in this training since long time. We are proud to be a part of such important training.
