Thank you for your interest in the HRA. In General we do not accept medical student from helping out at the Aid posts for more than a day or two. This is because in our experience most of the volunteer doctors feel that medical student need proper supervision and guidance. The volunteer doctors may not have adequate time for this.

At present you can certainly let us know if you have any interest for volunteering when you become a full fledged doctor, especially after your residency. If there are any ongoing high altitude research project and you would like to be involved, please email us and we will consider your application for working for such a project. You will need a minimum one month time commitment for research here. Thanks again for your interest and we are sorry if we were unable to help you.
