Himalayan Rescue Association Nepal has efficiently managed its Aid-posts Manang and Pheriche in the Fall 2011 season. The HRA has been providing medical services and rescue assistance if needed to local people, foreign trekkers and trekking related staff including porters and guides from the Aid-posts since its inception.
Dr. Noah Levit, USA, Dr. Chi Q. Truong, USA and Dr. Gregory Hugh Stiller, USA volunteered in Manang Aid-post in fall 2011.
Likewise, Dr. Natasha Helen Kate Burley, British, Dr. Megan Anne Walmsley, Australian and Dr. Lars Helge Lind, Norwegian volunteered in Pheriche Aid-post in fall 2011.
