37th Annual General Meeting of Himalayan Rescue Association Nepal (HRA)  was held on 22th August, 2011 (2068.5.5), at Hotel Radisson, Lazimpat, Kathmandu. The meeting was chaired by Chairman Mr. Santa Subba.

Chairman Mr. Santa Subba addressed the Annual General Meeting by "Welcome Speech". Mr. Subba highlighted on the role and activities of HRA as well as upcoming plans and projects. He assured that he will give continuity to regular work of HRA and  initiate a new project  “Tourism FM Radio”. He shed light on its importance such as it will not only promote the mountain tourism but also support to develop the entire tourism industry.

On behalf of the Executive Committee of HRA, Secretary General Mr. Kumar Ranabhat presented the Annual Progress Report for the year 2067/068 and Annual Implementation Plan (Plan of Action) for the year 2068/069 and Treasurer Mr. Prithbi Shrestha presented the Audited Report for the year 2067/068 and Annual Budget for the year 2068/069. On behalf of Medical Director, Dr. Buddha Basnyat, HRA CEO Mr. Prakash Adhikari presented Medical Report of HRA.

Chairman Mr. Santa Subba, I.P. Chairman Mr. Bikram Neuapane, Secretary General Mr. Kumar Ranabhat and Treasurer Mr. Prithbi Shrestha  answered the questions raised by General Members after the report presented by Secretary General and Treasurer. Progress Report of the year 2067/068 and Annual Implementation Plan for the year 2068/069 presented by the Secretary General and Audited Report for the year 2067/068 and Budget for the year 2068/069 were unanimously approved by the General Meeting  after proposing by Mr. Narahri Bhandari and supported by Mr. J. B. Singh and minuted accordingly.

Mr. Dev Raj Sharma was appointed as an Auditor to audit the books of accounts of HRA for the F/Y 2068/069.

Mr. Umesh Kumar Singh and Mr. Ganesh Neupae were nominated as a representative of general member to sign the minute book.

"Vote of Thanks" was given by Vice chairman Mr. Narendra Deo Bhatta. He expressed the gratitude to all concerned for their cooperation and positive support to make HRA’s 37th AGM successful. Finally Chairman announced of 37thAnnual General Meeting adjourned.
