As usual, Himalayan Rescue Association Nepal efficiently managed its both Aid-posts Manang and Pheriche in the fall 2005 season. The HRA has been able to meet its goal of providing medical services to local people, foreign trekkers and trekking related staff including porters smoothly from  the Aid-posts.

Dr. Torrey Lisa Goodman (USA), Dr. Simon Edward Jones (UK), Dr. Lucy Anne Cowell (UK) and Dr. Prajan Subedi (Nepal) have successfully served in Manang Aid-post in fall 2005 season.

Likewise, Dr. Lawrence John Dunn (USA), Dr. Anna Mary Mckinlay (Australia), Ms. Elizabeth Laurel Dunn (USA) and Mr. Andrew Jeffrey Long (New Zealand) have also served in  Pheriche Aid-post in fall 2005.

Aid-post will remain closed till the late December, January and February. The HRA is all set to continue its Aid-posts operation in the spring 2006. The Aid-posts will be opened in the first week of March 2006. The western volunteer doctors have been already assigned to take up the jobs.
